June 05, 2018 Be instantly transported into your favorite romantic comedy by watching summer movies at Bryant Park, the natural choice for date night. Located in the center of Midtown Manhattan, nothing sets the mood like a blanket, popcorn, and the sparkling lights of skyscrapers. Bryant Park is a lush green oasis in an otherwise concrete jungle, and thousands of people attend, lining up their blankets and picnicking under the stars. The lineup includes nostalgic classics such as The Princess Bride, Thema and Louise, and When Harry Met Sally and run from June 18th to August 20th. The lawn opens at 5 pm, but arrive early to secure the best viewing spot. Food will be available for purchase from Hester Street Fair or snag some French paninis from Le Pain Quotidien. If you are feeling fancy, have a cocktail or a glass of Provence rosé at Bryant Park Grill. Summer is for lovers, so grab your date and let the cuddling commence.
