October 02, 2017 The Today Show, 30 Rock, Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Seth Meyers—in addition to being great entertainment, the common thread that runs through all these iconic television shows is the iconic New York City complex of Rockefeller Center. And at the center of the Center, you’ll find the city’s most beloved ice-skating spot, The Rink, flanked by its famous gold statue of Prometheus bestowing the gift of fire on mankind. The Rink has been closed for several months, but now that the weather is cooling down, it’s time again to break out your ice skates. On October 11, the Rink will host its 2017 Grand Opening Ceremony, which features performances this year by Olympic skating duo Meryl Davis and Charlie White. All are welcome to enjoy the ice at The Rink, whether you're a skating novice or expert athlete. No reservations needed, just come on down to take part in the magic of this legendary Manhattan mainstay. Address: 600 5th Ave, New York, NY 10020Welcome to Rockefeller Center
